Gem Star 28/04/2021: Madelyn

Chris Caton-Greasley

If you have broken your arm, don't worry you don't have to miss out on your music making time. Madelyn normally plays the piano but a small break in the right arm means putting pressure on it is out of the question. A solution was found so rhythm and note reading can still be practised.

A broken arm music lesson includes one handed playing with a unique 6 week piano course for one arm (either arm) along with backing tracks and duet work so you can still have fun with making music. We include rhythm work combining rhythms and understanding the rhythmic combinations that make music using flash cards and percussion instruments suitable for one hand. When the six weeks is up and the arm is healed your normal work can be resumed with a greater understanding.

If we have not prepared a program at your standard yet, don't worry we will work one out for you when you let reception know about your break.

Don't forget to send your practice photos to our inbox and when we publish them on the timeline we will add a gemstone to your jar! That's £1 off a extra curricular activity or merchandise!!

If you want to learn how to play the piano you can book a lesson with any of our piano tutors on 0161 303 9966 or by clicking https://www.stalybridgemusicacademy.com

Lessons online or in person - available seven days a week.
