Earl Nightingale was an American radio speaker and author, dealing mostly with the subjects of human character development, motivation, and meaningful existence.
"Music Makes you Braver", that's the tagline on this band's Facebook page. I totally agree. There is a comment on the official video that says
Even when your muscles are shaking,
Even when you want to quit,
Even when you are beaten down, time and time again,
Even when you are shattered and broken,
Even when you fall,
Even when it feel like you couldn't possibly hold on,
Remember why you started.
Time and time again, keep going.
Rise.
Rise to fight again.
You will not be defined by your failures.
You will not be defined by your fears.
You will be defined by how you face them.
So time and time again, keep going.
Face the storm, and rise.
Never give up on your dreams. When I was looking for something to add to todays' quote by Earl Nightingale this really jumped out at me. Looking around the internet I found an interesting piano version that I may have a go at one day. In the description of the video on the right is a link to the sheet music. It does not involve anyone or depend on another person. It is the pull of your heart and soul, it is the one thing that you have to do. There are dreams that involve others; I am not talking about those dreams here, just the one passion to achieve that never goes away.
My dreams include a talk-radio style show and I have always said it is not possible due to copyright, today I find out it is possible with Anchor and Spotify, (https://blog.anchor.fm/updates/music) , ah well I guess that means it will be happening soon. That reminds me of a phrase Dru said to me many years ago 'be careful what you wish/ dream for'. My dream did not involve this show but I always knew there was something like it on the horizon. The horizon approaches; time to start planning. So as the 29th October 2021 draws to an end, I can conclude don't give up on the dream of your heart, do what needs to be done today (and get ready to make a talk radio show) for the next act is about to start.
